The SPARK (Security, Privacy, Assurance Research and Knowledge Lab) Lab at Prairie View A&M University (PVAMU) is dedicated to advancing the frontiers of hardware and cybersecurity research. Our mission is to develop innovative solutions that secure modern computing systems, from classical microelectronics to emerging quantum technologies. This lab is an integral part of the SECURE Center, which conducts high impact research in Assured and Trusted Microelectronics.
Our research focuses on hardware security, side-channel analysis, fault injection attacks, hardware Trojan detection, IoT network security, and post-quantum cryptography. By combining experimental hardware, software modeling, and advanced AI techniques, we aim to uncover vulnerabilities and design resilient, real-world security solutions.
At SPARK Lab, we are committed to collaboration, mentorship, and workforce development. We provide students and researchers with hands-on opportunities to tackle challenging cybersecurity problems, bridging the gap between academic research and practical applications. Through our work, we strive to strengthen the security of next-generation computing platforms and train the next generation of cybersecurity innovators.
